The Camera info is taking to much post of the website, it is extra info, not main info, also the authors info is seconddary, but it comes as the first, eeven before you see the picture………I am interested in showing of the picture, not data and text, the location map is ok, but it overlap the Software text, end it became small without opporturnity to zoom etc……the pin becomes bigger then the whole country Luxemburg…so where did they take “that” image?……

No, no….here is a total miss.

I suggest, get back to the old version, black/dark background (99% of all HDR pictures is brilliant to a black/dark background, get the focus on showing of the picture, not the info and other text…..

I am anest and I am anest whan I say that I rather stop useing the website as it looks now, now a teenager could have made it, before it was looking like a pro did it.

Please get back the old one.

I agree I like the old version of the site better. Not a fan of the bright colors. I also can’t upload a picture now? Any reason why? It doesn’t give me any error messages after I try uploading, it just won’t accept my picture?

I uploaded an image also and it does not appear on page.

Tried uploading and NOTHING! What happened to the recently added option? Back to the drawing board.

In general: new page caching system for speed up things seems to have broken most of functionality. The problem SHOULD BE fixed now.

Uploading: things appear ok to me now and I saw someone uploading pictures recently. Let me know is the problem persists.

Rating: right, here the explanation. Positive ratings (>5) don’t need a comment and can be anonymous. Negative ratings (<6) must be followed by a comment. So if you see 7 votes on the box you could not see 7 comments (with vote).

Wall comments: this has been fixed.

comments others made by my photo’s are still missing, I liked those compliments you see.

I’ve found the missing comments. I’m trying to restore them. Thanks for your support.

loading the frontpage takes about 5 min. to get to the forum again 5 min, not the right chapter.. another 5 minutes.. I’m using Mozilla Firefox with the latest update in Windows 7, My machine is about 2 weeks old and in other sites really fast, just not here.

I agree. The site is very slow to load any pages (at least on my PC). I am not at all convinced this upgrade has improved the site in fact I think it is worse now.
The slowness for me is making the site almost unusable.

It’s not a matter of pc speed but network speed. All the pictures are now stored in amazon cloudfront servers so I can’t really do better to improve the speed. BTW the images migration has just ended so hopefully you’ll find a speed improvement soon. Let me know if things will get better.

I would like to apoligize to all members for not voting and commenting on everyones images due to the SLOW downloads. It took me nearly 2 hours to comment on 10 images and upload one of my own. I will return when and if things improve.

Carlo I tried to subscribe to Creme Plus but the pop up box does not show United States or America in the Paypal section.

Digicam, I really don’t know what to say about the slow downloads as the servers are US based, I’m in italy and all is really smooth here..
From your network do you find the website loading slow or images loading slow?

UPDATE: some network problems (aka website is slow) could be generated by a network routing issue in Europe.

Both the website and images are very slow to download. I have NO problems with slow connections on any other website but here.
Hopefully the BUGs will be ironed out soon……..Good Luck.

The ability to delete previously posted photos is still not working. Even for those photos with “Delete” under them, it’s impossible to delete. And, there are still many photos which do not have “Delete” under them that are impossible to delete. I want the ability to delete any photo that I have ever posted here. Also, the HDRcreme server continues to be exceptionally slow. It’s so slow that I am beginning to have “why bother” thoughts. The server has always been slow—as noted by the duplicate comments that were sometimes posted. It’s gotten worse since the site update.

Somewhat better speed today Carlo but still not as fast as 2.0 was. Keep up the De-Bugging. BTW: How does one delete images from the Creme Plus program?

I am still waiting for the new website to have the capability for me to delete posted photos. The delete feature hasn’t worked since the new site opened. And, from what I’ve been reading, the capability to add new photos has also been compromised. I will not post new photos until I have the ability to delete any photos I have posted previously.

The delete function on plus account was missing and I’ve added it now.
Also it has been restored and fixed the delete feature for non-plus users.

We had a routing network problem in the past days that caused a website slowdown. It should be fixed now. BTW we will work on performance in the next days to speed up things.
