Built 1926 in Bremerhaven, went in servive as PADUA, a flying P-Liner of shipping company F.Laeisz (where I spend 3 years as apprentice and 2 years as an Engineer's assistant). She was given in 1946 to the USSR as war reparation. LOA: 114m, Beam:14m, GRT: 4700 A real beauty! This shot I took last afternoon on the way to work in Bremerhaven. The Kruzenshtern is waiting for the big parade on Saturday,04/30/2011, for the opening of the new "Kaiserschleuse" (great lock for the car carriers to access the Kaiserhafen).
