I found this Corvair in the woods behind an abandoned house. Corvairs were a much maligned car in the 1960's as the earliest versions had a tendency to flip over because of their early rear axel system. In reality, they were closely akin to the Porsches of their time and much faster!. Air cooled 6 cylinder engines as well as turbo and dual carbureted versions were real muscle cars of their day. A book written by Ralph Nader, titled "unsafe at any speed" killed this amazing car.

My brother had one of this and we called it the poorman's Porsche all the time. Randy you might remember the store in Indy called Topps. That car died in a Topps parking lot and he just left it there. haha
