Yeah, I almost never count off for the "rule of thirds". Rules are meant to be broken. Plus in this case the rocks and the boat balance it all out

Agree with Panda, Since the cloudy sky is not that fantastic, why shouldn't we follow the rules. The rules can be broken only in case it has to be broken. The rules are the common sense.

This is not a rule like Do Not Steal, or murder. Do not run the red light or do not speed. It's more of an aesthetics rule. It's probably more opinion based much like flipping a photo horizontal. Sure it might look better but beauty is in the person vi
