I have a Nikon D50 and used photomatix and CS2. I will post some chopper pix if you like this look.
That would be awesome. Any special lenses in the works? What settings did you shoot in? I'm just learning here "photomography" thingie, and I'm eager to learn. My e-mail is erik (at) yi dot se (also MSN) if you'd care to hook up and let me mooch off of your skills.
I appreciate the feedback! My 2 cents, I try to keep it a realistic as possible in trying to enhance the dynamic range. I use 3 photos,-2/0/+2, then I’m careful not to lose the originality feel of the photo. Watch you’re Gamma and you will produce a more realistic photo. My photo tips are shooting on cloudy days, better with puffy clouds than with total overcast, when shooting indoors utilize lights to gain the reflections. By this I mean to make sure the object you are shooting does not have to well lit, just the objects that you will see in the reflections. Then if you want to maintain realism look for something like the tire in this picture to gauge you’re tweaking of the tonal adjustments. If the tire looks real and appears to have realistic texture then the rest should follow. My little write up applies to vehicles specifically, but might be applicable in other situations; I’ll try a non-vehicle HDR and see if it applies.
I added a custom chopper pic HDR of course. The name is Chopperness. Check it out.
Did you get a picture of the Dodge Magnum behind this car?
Might I ask what equipment you use?
