London police car at night - HDR Photo

My first attempt at HDR, not quite what I expected... Maybe I should have done a day shot first?
Still this is about learning so any advice welcomed...

I used a tripod and took five shots but ended up using just three, a 3", an 8" and a 13"...

I used Photoshop CS2 following a tutorial, nothing said what to save it as in the end though, i've been through psb, tiff and plently others... but now I think you just go back to jpg once it's all done right???

......ey are 'lossless'. Only convert your images to jpeg when you are sure you've finished editing them and are ready to upload them.

Oh, and photoshop is awesome for editing pictures but personally i prefer standalone software for processing HDR. GET PHOTOMATIX, it's awesome!
