I love the idea - really. But - the blown out highlight on the rose spoils it and rose flower is perhaps a little too luminous perhaps. Maybe if you had take bracketed shots you may have been able to process this one more successfully. Only my opinion an

At burgor57 - yes, I see what you mean about the blownout highlights, but once again my image seems to be the victim of upload degredation, as the original does not have the "blownout" area; there is still detail there, you just can't see it on this parti

Well that's interesting - I have noticed my images often appear to lose something in the upload process. It's been bugging me. Thanks for pointing that out.
