The Margot and Bill Winspear Opera House is a new opera house which forms part of the AT&T Performing Arts Center, located in the Arts District of downtown Dallas, Texas (USA). It is one of four venues comprised by the AT&T Center and was dedicated October 12, 2009 with the first performance taking place at the grand opening of the Dallas Opera's new season on October 23, 2009. The house is designed as a 21st century reinterpretation of the traditional horseshoe configuration and seats 2,200 (with capacity up to 2,300). Groundbreaking was held in October 2006.
