DPW (Department of Pele Works): Road ... - HDR Photo

The Department of Pele Works (DPW) says that the Chain of Craters Road is closed due to lava from the Kilauea volcano. This now-ironic sign was embedded in slow-moving pahoehoe lava a few years back.

This is an HDR image made from three exposures: 1.6, 3 and 6 seconds at f10. It's one of my more "realistic" HDRs, tho IMHO "realistic" is vastly overrated, if you get my drift. - See more pics on my site at www.michaelholden.com
