great shot, better had you cropped off the left 40%, rule of thirds to put the swimmer on the 2nd vertical.

This is a great example of when the rule of thirds doesn't apply and photos such as this have been used by people like Rick Sammon's and others as examples of such. Good composition always trumps rules.
