I created this image from 2 seperate Raw files and then merged them together, the forground was taken at -2 and the background was 0.

Based on the content of your portfolio, I don't get this one. It is as if you went B&W to save the image. IMO not up to your usual work which has been exceptional.

Hi bob! thanks for the feedback, unfortunately I did set out with the intention of making a black and white image lol, I experimented with my post processing on this shot trying to keep the HDR tone mapping as subtle as possible! thanks for voting
