Trees in the fog - HDR Photo
Autumn has arrived and brought with it the days of fog and cold.
The river flows slowly but showed signs of a storm, now over. The large trunk was dragged for several kilometers downstream, and now, stuck between two large boulders, will remain there until a new, big rain. The other trees are rather healthy and robust, their silhouettes stand out in the fog, as guardians of the River.

This is a wonderful image - the journey through the forested riverbanks and the meandering rapids, to the foggy distance is a compelling one. The atmosphere is superb and the processing has created superb painterly qualities:)
