Pordoi pass - HDR Photo
Panorama from Pordoipass. The Pordoipass (Pordoijoch in German, Jouf de Pordou in the local dialect) is a mountain pass in the Dolomites. It's 2,239 m above sea level and located between the Sella group in the north, and south of the Marmolada. Joining Arabba near Belluno, with Canazei, in the province of Trento through the legendary road SS48 of the Dolomites. I took this picture in a clear and cold morning of October just ended. We already had the first snow. I used the usual equipment: Canon EOS 50D lens Canon EF-S 17-85 IS USM and in addition to a polarizing filter. I took three different exposures by hand held. Using a tripod, the photo would have been much better!
