Dam of St. Catherine - HDR Photo
The weekend just ended was very rainy and rivers and lakes are very swollen. This photo was taken at the dam of St. Catherine, Auronzo di Cadore. The lake is filled beyond the limit, and the water crosses the limit of the dam and down into the valley with a jump of 55 meters. The bridge over the dam you can walk, allowing tourists to make a beautiful walk around one of the most beautiful alpine lakes. Crissin Mount (2503 m) with the snow, and Mount Tudaio (2140 m.) are reflected in the water.
