Descending from Misurina to Carbonin in the desert of stones and gravel of the Valfonda, there is a curious stone. No one, going beyond, will done but wonder what it was: solitary and
enigmatic, catalytic core of the "whys" of wayfarer.
Is but one of the old boundary stones of 1753 that determined the line border between the Republic of Venice and the County of Tyrol.
Later this place will become one of the most suffered during the Great War.
