The square of Padola (Comelico Superiore) in the province of Belluno is dominated by the church of S. Luke Evangelist rebuilt between 1862 and 1869, after the fire that destroyed the village. The paintings on the ceilings are works of De Lorenzi dating to 1868 that represents the Glory of the Saints and the Four Evangelists.
I positioned the camera at the center of the nave, I had 6 shots, and under each 3 exposures (-2, 0, +2), for a total of 18 photos. Later I worked out the different exposures with Photomatix Pro HDR getting 6 photos. I combined the photos with "merge" of Photoshop. This software demonstrates his power in these situations, you can do a fantastic job in a few minutes. I kept shooting at the perfect alignment and overlay of individual images. But without Photoshop would be impossible to have a good end result. The final corrections concern the reduction of noise with Topaz DeNoise, the sharpness with the plugin Focal Blade, and a final touch to contrast with Color Efex Pro.
