Piave - HDR Photo
The Piave river, "a sacred river to the Motherland" in memory of the fighting in it was the scene during the First World War. In this photo I took the Piave, close to the "Sindar Mile", an ancient water mill in Sappada. Here the river has just started his race to be 231 km long, up to flow into the Adriatic Sea, just north of Venice.
