In 1911, Seattle’s 12th Avenue South or Dearborn Street Bridge was erected. It is one of the first permanent steel bridges build in Seattle. In 1974 it was renamed the Jose Rizal Bridge. In 2007 it became the state’s oldest steel-arch bridge.
This view is a tricky one to get to and I would advise going with one or more people because a lot of homeless people sleep in the woods where this picture was taken, but the results are worth it.
