Iron Maiden - HDR Photo
Typically I hate powerlines in a shot but this one is a bit different. The powerlines and powerline pole stopped this large Gulf Trawler a few years back from washing further up on shore and blocking the only road in and out of this community. It has rested here ever since. Washed up by Hurricane Gustav in Southeast Louisiana. Tides of nearly 8 feet and winds in excess of 100mph. Some scavaging and salvaging has left it an empty shell.
