The old bridge - HDR Photo
Bridge over the river elbe. Build in 1899 and used for cars up to 1970.Today only walker and biker can cross this. It shows an remarkable architecture with the archways on both sides, who are to be understand as the doors to the city of Hamburg.
Cold winter morning with a rising sun in the east from the left side. The road is always coated with a flimsy ice.

I love it. I was intrigued by the coat of arms, but could not find anything on the internet about him due to the search note that the shape of the coat is the Spanish style.

The coat of arms on top of the archway shows the sign of the district harburg wich you are entering by crossing the bridge.
