Something new for HDR photography - snails. My wife and I were out for a walk and found hundreds of these snails up trees in a wood. They were about two meters up, tightly clumped like this, and every tree had a cluster of them. We don't know why they do this? I was struck by their colours and textures, which I thought would make a good HDR shot.

I feel good HDR process, the texture can be felt. I would have liked to see this picture a few steps back, to give a clearer context of snails. (which saw the left and right edge of the tree).

YUCK! I Hate snails.. gives me the creeps. This image on the other hand does not. I actually like the tight crop on this one. You can really see the detail on the shells.
