Sunrise At Mesa Arch
This is a three shot HDR authored in Photomatix Pro.
Uauuuu A huge picture of HDR landscape. Very nice visual.
Murray, this is class. It stands and against the dross that is so often uploaded om this site. 5 stars plus. Simply stunning!
How did you get the light to reflect below the arch? Superb stuff!
Arjun, the reflective light under the arch is natural, not man made. Many versions of this shot show it. I was just fortunate to be there at the right time. ;-)
There are few images that capture the power of Tao (Nature). Nurture your true nature it is all we have. You have captured the nature of God.
Very Nice. No kids?
#3, that's not reflection. It's called light diffraction and is a pretty common phenomenon.
Awesome! What time of year did you take this?
Thanks, Aaron. I shot this in early May. As you know the Sun's eastern rise, moves north to south in accordance with the seasons, and this vantage point has made us of all.
I went back and reread my previous post and it was confusing. Unfortunately after I posted it there was no way to corrected my mistakes. The arch is in a north to south orientation. And as the sun rises it moves north to south (and visa versa) as the sea
Very good photo, i´m really impressed. Of course the place is magnificent but without a good photographer the final result can be poor. 10 for me....
This is a great picture. Taken at the perfect moment!
Outstanding Image.......10 !
I would pay money for this. Super photo!!!
Outstanding. Wonderfull work
wow a perfect one congrats
outstanding work my friend!!!
Love the Radiant sun, is it from a small apt or is it just from the edge of the rock?
Not exactly sure what a small apt is. The effect is natural.
Well done,i saw ur pic in a BlackBerry ad..
Thanks! Are you sure you saw this specific image? This iconic location is one of the most photographed in the country.
U are right, the sun is slightly more to the right in BB wallpaper..the rest is very similiar...did not know the spot was so popular.
Extremely awesome, love it!
