Murray, this is class. It stands and against the dross that is so often uploaded om this site. 5 stars plus. Simply stunning!

How did you get the light to reflect below the arch? Superb stuff!

On June 29, 2009 00:00

Arjun, the reflective light under the arch is natural, not man made. Many versions of this shot show it. I was just fortunate to be there at the right time. ;-)

There are few images that capture the power of Tao (Nature). Nurture your true nature it is all we have. You have captured the nature of God.

Very Nice. No kids?

On June 29, 2009 00:00

#3, that's not reflection. It's called light diffraction and is a pretty common phenomenon.

Awesome! What time of year did you take this?

Thanks, Aaron. I shot this in early May. As you know the Sun's eastern rise, moves north to south in accordance with the seasons, and this vantage point has made us of all.

I went back and reread my previous post and it was confusing. Unfortunately after I posted it there was no way to corrected my mistakes. The arch is in a north to south orientation. And as the sun rises it moves north to south (and visa versa) as the sea

Love the Radiant sun, is it from a small apt or is it just from the edge of the rock?

On November 30, 2009 01:19

Vote10

Not exactly sure what a small apt is. The effect is natural.
