Notes For this picture no hdr software was used.
Trying to get a better quality with manual blending of four different shots in GIMP 2.8.2.
One for the sky, the ship, light, and water.
Sky was captured with Lee GND 0.9 about 30 min bevore the shots of ship/lights and water.
Water was captured with LEE ND 0.9 for more silk on the surface.
So sometimes you have to wait and collect the needed shots over a longer time. It is a little like fishing...
One of the bassins of Burchard Container Terminal at dawn. It is always a gamble to find one of the big vessels here at the blue hour.
Sometimes you have one of them in front of your cam and minutes bevore good conditions they get out for their next long travel around the world...
No correction of lines, because i liked the view with a small fish eye effect.

on the crane left
and under the spring.
