Comments:

Your Church series by far, to me, has been your best work posted to date which I appropriately rated 5 stars. Your single image techniques / workflows yield results that, to me, look completely overdone and not very good.

I totally disagree, this photo rocks it for me. Nicely done.

I agree with Jigsawman, unfortunately this time you've ended up with a picture that looks quite dirty.

On June 29, 2009 00:00

Can JigsawMan and Collins please explain the negative comments about this picture. Someone agrees the picture is good but you two don't. Let me know what I am doing wrong and how to correct it. That would be more appreciative than anything else for a star

Single image processing is extremely difficult and therefore difficult to master. Perhaps if you shared your workflow I might be able to offer some pointers. Again, like I said, your Church series has been your best post and most resembles HDR.

Direct me to your email addy jigsawman so we can talk.

Gunisephotos, don't take it personally. I can't put my finger on it but i think it may be your shadow smoothing that wants knocking down a bit. If you look at the people they look a little dirty. This is just my opinion. Others may feel differently.

You're obviously not used to criticism which means you must be doing something right, Gus. Take that as a compliment.

On June 29, 2009 00:00

I don't like it, too. The colors look very strange -like a photography of ancient cameras. 2 by me.
