This is a river fed by the high mountains of Iceland. I took a trek across a field on a hunch that the river would have some nice curves and reflections.

Very nice, although I am having trouble with the title as there IS ice in the bottom right hand corner. I understand what you mean though.

I think the caption means that there is none <as in troubles> There is no (Troubles) in Iceland.

On June 29, 2009 00:00

Hah I stumbled here, and I'm from Iceland. Coincidence? I think not.

On June 29, 2009 00:00

Ha. I stumbled here too. But I'm not from Iceland... Oh well. Nice picture! =)

The trouble with Iceland is that it isn't America.

On June 29, 2009 00:00

and the problem with you is that you're small minded (and xenophobic)

On June 29, 2009 00:00

Bob's my man, you tell'em mate.

On June 29, 2009 00:00

Please, you actually believe that guy Matt is from America? You must believe everything you read - which must mean you are crazier than us Christians!!!

dangg...though i think that's foam in the bottom right-hand corner, abyssion. but i read something about the vikings naming a land of ice greenland, and a land of green iceland. to confuse their enemies so they would go to the wrong place. but i LOVE hdr

stumbled here to.. and I am from iceland, and I know Ármann snær erlingsson.. how freaky is that

On June 29, 2009 00:00

I don't get it. I can't see Bjork anywhere in this picture. Is she hiding behind the sun like the clouds are? I don't know about you strange Icelandic folk, but where the rest of us come from, our sun is round.

On June 29, 2009 00:00

Stumbled too...freaky

On June 29, 2009 00:00

I stumbled here too. and i also heard of the name switching to confuse enemies. cause who would want to live in a land full of ice? although i heard they made the names a little later than the vikings. im not sure when though
