I am a married mother of three. I started photography in June 2010. I come and go on the site but never stop taking pictures. I love taking photos of my children. They are so carefree and fun. We lost our daughter Allison in October 2011. We took time after her death to do some traveling and get our minds on other things. Photography has been a great focus and form of healing for me. I am not the best photographer but I have learned a few tricks and I don't mind sharing my ideas. If you ever have a question or need help I don't mind. I do like helpful hints too. So if you see something I can improve please tell. As I will always be a student. Jennifer

Therefore.. I try to duplicate exactly what I see regardless as after only 7 months of having my first camera I tend to lean on natural as I am a naturalist so adding makeup is not my cup of tea even though it does enhance looks. Just my thoughts at this

As to the lighting.. could be your monitor but.. that is pretty harsh sunlight on those leaves and just the way they were that day as I am at this site often.

Jennifer, to me at passed in some pictures, working on the computer the photos seem bright and I low luminosity. After uploading the site, appear darker.
