Try getting 3 kids to hold still for 3 shots. Low light, 2 EV not much range and a LOT of curves and meticulous level adjustments. Kept 2 shots, histograms only needed 2 shots. FDRtools to tonemap and merged with original at 25% opacity to limit the shine. Redeye reduction on my cute niece being squashed on the bottom. Tried to use a high pass filter for sharpness but it looked nasty, so I killed it and stayed with the original and threw a 1.6 gaussian blur after correcting skin tones and airbrushing some blown highlights.

Excellent Image and Keepsake for sure. However I fail to see the use of High Dynamic Range in the final work. Bravo on a Terrific Capture.

If you saw the originals you would. I try to keep human subject shots very realistic, so I don't go crazy with the local contrast and smoothing. Otherwise the skin tones become dirty looking. Thank you for the kind words.
