St Helen's Bishopsgate is a church, in Lime Street ward, in the City of London, close to the Lloyd's building and the 'Gherkin' and dates from 1210. It was the parish church of William Shakespeare when he lived in the area in the 1590s. It is one of only a few City churches to survive both the Great Fire of London of 1666 and The Blitz during World War II.

Peter - I like this subject. The texture of the old stone and bricks is well observed and captured. The HDR processing has been handled well to. Only wonder if it would help to straighten up the vertical lines - or did you intend it this way?

I agree with the above comment. Great texture and nice job processing. But a quick straighten with the transform tool would help this shot. 6/10!

Thanks for a constructive comments! I think you are right - I had a bit of trouble to align it correctly (I took the vertical line of the door) but it does not look right I guess. Learning every day... :)
