I kept mine too wet and it rotted! I am the original old black thumb! Nice shot.

Pigfacedshell, they love being in very damp, warm peat. I'm assuming you water from the tap to water it with?? The minerals from tapwater build up in the soil and burn the roots. Rain water/distilled water is the way forwards.

As for Peters advice on not giving my Venus 'Fly' trap flies to eat..... I find that info to be a little dubious. It's been thriving nicely now for a year or so.
