One of the sights I made sure to see in Japan was Kinkaku-Ji the beautiful golden temple. The temple was built in 1397 to serve as a retirement home for one of the powerful shogun, it has been rebuilt twice after being burned down in the Onin war on 2 occasions.
Again one of the most frustrating things about the trip was the banning of tripods which lead to me standing in a very awkward looking pose as I attempt to shock absorb the vibrations from the camera to stop the HDR from ghosting.

Beautiful composition. The strange quality of light and soft processing give it the feeling of a pastel artwork. Very nice.
