Others are entitled to their opinions, but unless the egret is running around in an oil spill, this photo is way too dark. The white foam where the water meets the sand looks almost black.

I know how hard it is to get close to enough to these birds to get a good photo. I struggle all the time with Blue Herons. Great job!
