I was only in Bruges to sign a contract yesterday and took the occasion to make some pictures ...without tripod. Tried 3 exposures for this one but the third one didn't make it :( However, that's not the reason why it looks a bit dark ...it IS pretty dark inside that church. Even with ISO-1000 +2-exposure took 5 seconds too long to hold still without tripod. I also filtered out yellow quite a bit, because the spotlights are very yellow -HISTORY- The Onthaalkerk O.L.V., with its 122-metre brick steeple, dominates the skyline of the city. It is quite literally the ‘high spot’ of the stonemason’s art in medieval Bruges. The church also plays host to a rich collection of art treasures, of which the crowning glory is defi nitely the beautiful ‘Madonna and Child’ by Michelangelo. The choir aisle is also a treasure trove of exceptional pieces: paintings and exquisite woodcarving, the 16th-century ceremonial tombs of Maria of Burgundy and Charles the Bold, as well as other painted tombs from the 13th and 14th centuries, etc.

Mais c'est quand même très beau, avec ou sans trépied!

Nice photos but it seems tilted and the ghosting of the moving people takes away from the clarity.

Sorry, but I couldn't ask the tourists to leave, this was one of the better moments ;)) Tilted a very little bit, true :( ...wasn't easy handheld, could've rotated and cut the picture, but i didn't.
