  • Notes Okay... here's the version without the border. Why was the border around it in the first place? I print my work on canvas, which never stretches evenly so the photo goes right to the edges of the stretcher bars all the way around. I print a black border so all 4 sides of the finished image are black. I put the frame around each image to give myself a bit of "wiggle room" when stretching. It also make the image seem to float off the canvas.

Shot in California's Central Valley, near Lincoln. The mountains off in the distance are the Sierras.
