Notes after running through photomatix layered the strikes back in from the original raw to really make them pop.

I've been noticing in the forum some frustration with posting comment and votes and wanted to try something. I really liked this photo but after posting find it a bit darker than on photoshop work station. Im also curious about what others thinks about

Wow, talk about timing and perfect blend using multiple expos. the colors are great and composition is awesome --Now I have to constructively criticize this awesome photo, the bottom of the trees takes away the eyes from the subject because they are under

Bryan, thank you. I notice that too after it was posted. I also find the color to be a bit over saturated in the green here. Was told once the ladder is a distraction but I think it adds interest...?
