My guess is that it is a single RAW file that has been tone-mapped, rather than a multi-exposure HDR that has been tone-mapped.

My guess is that it is a single RAW file that has been tone-mapped, rather than a multi-exposure HDR that has been tone-mapped.
The original is far better though than the HDR.
