Lovely processing, however what stops it from getting a perfect is. 1) blown highlight in the doorway 2) strange blackness in the right hand window.

I donΒ΄t care about that one little blown out window. There must have been extreme light contrast in the location - so you did a perfect job!

Thanks! You are correct. The sun was extremely bright and low that day. i went back to take another series, maybe 5 shots at 1 stop intervals, hoping to negate that blow out. barn was all locked up.

If you want to negate the blow out, crop out the far right window, then clone parts of the wall over the bright orb near the door. Then use layers or clone the less bright window panes.

I think that motive is best how you made it. A HDR image need not always be totally bright and oversaturated. This opinion of others here in the forum is wrong. It is a dark atmosphere.
