The battle at Kennesaw mountain began June 18, 1864. The cannon emplacements upon little Kennesaw mountain rained upon the Union soldiers until July 2nd 1864 resulting in 5350 Union army deaths and a final confederate victory before the battle of Atlanta and the final March to the sea.
