I think the "blur" makes the detail stand out even more. You wouldn't want the background to be with a lot of detail, the car would not be as pronounced.

the only place it seems reallllly strange is in front of the tire... I think you should have layed a new matte with more ground detail in that area... then, a ten fo sho.
