The Fountain of the Naiads in the center of the square is the work of Mario Rutelli of Palermo who carved the artistic group in 1901. The nymphs are represented Nymph Lake, recognizable by the swan keeps to himself, the Nymph of the Rivers, lying on a monster of the rivers, the Nymph of the Ocean, riding on a horse symbol of the sea, and the Nymph of Groundwater, resting on a dragon mysterious. At the center is the group of Glaucus (1912), which represents the domination of natural force.
