I have returned to this beautiful spot many times and in different seasons. To get this viewpoint means jumping onto some slippery stones, and the river is deep. Above the bridge there is a huge waterfall, and at the time the picture was taken salmon were leaping. People gather in a special viewing platform to watch them (more pictures later). The white streaks are caused by foam droplets coming downstream from the falls.

Oops, its not a singe image, sorry. It's 7 shots tonemapped in Photomatix, hence the staggered streaks in the water.
