Dunottar Castle sits on a big outcrop ,of land on the North East Coast of Scotland. It is very imposing and there have been settlements there from 5000 BC when it was a Pictish settlement (Picts are the ancient Scottish race). It has been a castle for several centuries but is now a ruin. It has had a very coloured and bloody history.
