I've passed this tree literally 300 times during the daylight, and stopped to shoot it a few times during summer, but tonight I was passing it at midnight under dark cloudy skies. I'm changing jobs and may never pass this way again, so I had to stop one last time. I opened up the lens to infinity, set up the tripod and shot a 2 minute exposure at 5.6 I love the natural midnight result.
