It's 9:30 p.m. It was dark except for the moonlight and a light from a distant home on the edge of the river. A dam was built here over 100 years ago to harness the power of the water to run a grist mill to serve the surrounding community. I parked on the bridge above and aimed in the general direction of the falls. then I set the shutter to "bulb" and held it closed for 2 minutes. then 1 minute then 1:30. I painted the water with a 9led light each time and love the result.

I think you did a great job with this technique. The shadow or object in the lower right corner keeps my eye adjusting.:( How did you decide the length of exp.time?

that's the edge of the bridge. I had two feet laying on the bridge and on on the road. I tested exposures, actually doing 7, and chose these three as the best combination. Try light painting!
