Cool Petrified Forest area near Holbrook Arizona. Almost Alien like with White Calcium rock and strange colored stones,sand and petrified wood. Great place to get Geo's. ---- The Painted Desert is a United States desert of badlands in the Four Corners area. An often overlooked area for visitors in the Southwest.
