The main stairway in an old business house in Hamburg.
Walking in the crowded and noisy streets of Hamburg i saw an unimpressive door and take a look in.
In the moment the door closing behind me it was absolute silent.
No sound from the street was audible and the only light comes from the light bulbs in there.
Looking on the woodwork and marble on the walls or the candelabras hanging from the roof was like a journey back into a time capsule.....
Hope you like the visible tracks of time on the right wooden column, the magic of light and the little amount of dirt on the floor at the right side.

Nice Szene, but there are many mistakes in this pic. There is a big red-yellow Color cast, you have to correct the lines in this pic and the lights are overexposed. Why so many 10 Points for this pic ? I cannot understand. Is the standard in this forum so

Michael, you are right in the therm of vertical lines. I wrote some lines above why i didn't corrected them. In the case of colors you are wrong i think. Roof is yellow with white stucco. Wood has this amber/honey coloration as a result of maintenance wit

I like the light as it comes out and don't think there are very big areas with to bright light. But never mind thanks for your sharing your opinion. Have to go out shooting ;-). Over and out. Dirk
