Spotted this duck on Llangollen Canal, and I have to admit that I have never come across one before. I'm not usually one for wildlife, but this bird/duck may just have started to push me to have a go. Zoom lens is on the wish list :)
The Mandarin Duck, or just Mandarin, is a medium-sized perching duck, closely related to the North American Wood Duck.
Specimens frequently escape from collections, and in the 20th century a large feral population was established in Great Britain. There are now about 7000 in Britain, and other populations on the European continent.

fabulous,
sharpness and colors
spectacular.
The movement of water and the reflections are an ingredient to make the whole excellent.

Agree Ricardo.. great single capture processing. Yep.. she looks like a N.A. wood duck. Wildlife is why I purchased my 1st camera 6 months ago. Love it..

Beautiful, sharp clean color. I didn't know cloning from a single raw could work that well. How did you save the raw. Details please.
