St Louis Cathedral, Jackson Square New Orleans Louisiana. Founded 1718.
Fine Post Rick. I see you were less than an hour from my home. A bit dark in spots for me but Excellent nonetheless with the light you had to work with....9.5
Cool, Love Louisiana. Just got back. Yeah, no tri-pod & Abita inebriation doesn't help either, ;). First time I tried to photograph inside a church.
Abita imbibing, involved in acquiring an elegant angle in an orthodox organization at an unusual angle? Absolutely un-acceptable!
Excellent to see it in a big one at night:)!
Agree with Digicam
Briliant shot, I tried some interiors yesterday but just cant get rid of the noise, excellent.
In lieu of abstinence.. I would have just put another bottle of Anita in the right pocket to bring back to level. New Orleans = Color..!! Good shot..
Very well done, I think the darkness is part of the atmosphere, yet
no loss of detail, and has no noise.
I agree with Ricardo, the darkness does add atmosphere....super post !!
Sorry Rick, You should have mentioned in your Notes that you Had NO TRIPOD, IT WAS YOUR FIRST EFFORT INDOORS and EXACTLY WHAT TYPE OF ABITA IT WAS, (PURPLE HAZE)? I would have scored it a 12! Please add NOTES next time. LOL.
all perfect, except the surreal blue, oversaturated
I like it but agree about the blue cast which is distracting (imho)
It's a gorgeous cathedral! Nice shot!
Agree with Ed.
Great 1st attempt at church photography... Like the colours, clean sharp image......
Great shot indeed
Nice color / Good shot
