I have got a new/old camera, Canon EOS 350 D, with ONLY 3200 EXP ON THE COUNTER. Cant see any indications that it has been used at all. But it dosent give me the colors that I want. It has a very hard/frozen/crisp/sharp (I dont know how to explain) therfore I post this one to show you, and maybe get some help and input from you. It was a strange light yesterday evening, but my EOS 400D didnt have this hard light in the colors. My EOS 400D gives me good warm, natural colors, not like this 350 D. But I will give the 350 a go, cause my 400D is getting well used and has about 40-50 000 exp on the counter. (Still gives great images.) So please say what you mean, dont think soo much about voting, I dont expect that high ratings on this one.

The camera sensor is positioned on the right type of light (sun, clouds, tungsten, etc. ..).?il paesaggio e la composizione meritano 10!

I used the auto whitebalanse, wich I have used all time on my 400D.

a full 9, I would have adjusted the excess of blue on the rocks (below)

Giustissima la nota di Maurizio. In determinate condizioni di luce devi intervenire manualmente.Paesaggio notevole.

Agree with Maurizio. Always use manual WB. Would try to change the WB with your Software in the RAWs. Try something like shade and look what happens.

If its always to blue try some warm allocations like full sun.

Very nice scenic landscape.

A very pleasing landscape. I think you lighten the shadows just a touch to bring out a little more detail.

Love the comp on this. Good luck ironing out details on your newly acquired camera.

I like it as it is Bjorn. I always use auto white balance & I always shoot raw. You should be able to change your setting within the camera: 'Picture Style'. You can sharpen images or soften them & adjust colours etc. I set myself a pre-set on import in L

I mostly use Auto WB unless it's just plain obvious that it a "Sun" shot. I will sometimes take both to compare the difference.

Use "Cloudy" WB for most of the pictures shot outdoors during the day, but not during sunset hours. If you shoot RAW you can always change the WB later if it doesn't fit.

Very dramatic picture however a little bit on the blue side.

Nice picture. Do you have a polarized lens on the other and not on this. That can make a color difference. Picture looks very gray.

Well...beautiful landscape, processing is good...the excess of blue can be easily corrected setting the WB in Camera Raw and Colour Balance (a musk could be good here)...so I think it's a very good work!:-)
