Notes I did the +-3 shoot today and am not thrilled at how hot the high end of the shots are. almost unusable in my most humble opinion, the -2,0,+2 seems more suited to this approach... any suggestions? agreement?

I've got a few petunias that I haven't planted yet and I put some moss on the stones to start propagating new mossy growth on the well i made last month. The late afternoon soon looked so good on the petunias that I had to grab a few shots. At the same time, Frogs were croaking in the pond next to the well, but I only caught a few shots of them before they got scared.

I see what you mean about the sky. Not sure if I like the comp. but overall the colors pop well.

First of all it's a Definite Flipper. Do you use Polarize or ND Filters? If not they would help here.

forgive me father, for I have sinned. two days in a row. No ND, just a quick 3 in a row at 3.... disappointed. maybe too much of a difference in exposure....

3/4 of the image is perfect, pity about the huge difference in light in that 1/4th. -2, 0, +2 might produce better results, but not always when you shoot from shade towards the light

Hmmm.... filters? This is where my P&S comes up short as I struggle with bright sun on greenery. This is a great shot other than sky.

I value the photo, and I have no problem in voting 10 throughout this series.
The composition is very nice and the process too.
